Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

wtf. politic sucks all over the world, to live happy, I just ignor them. As long as the people won't understand that the power shouldn't be for a political party but for the people themselves to go and make their rules and manage their country as they want to, human race is still sleeping and every time I look at the "cortege du vote" xcuse my french. What is going to be change, what miracles are you waiting for from so and so.
Well, I just ignor them and don't give a S--T about them, not interested and I just go on with anonymous citizen, and live for ever happy.

I have similiar feelings about my country. Notice what happens here in Poland. Two leading parties and in fact none of them has anything to offer. One is a 'nationalist' party but its image is so barnyard and unintelligent that it can almost make you cry... Additionally, it supports cranky catholicism. Another one (which is the governing one right now) doesn't really procure our country to make any economic progress, its members take care almost only of their own earnings and it's elected practically only because efficient people don't want the second party to govern in our country.
Just foolish.

What about politics... I can tell that I'm completely dumb in it. I can't understand anything what's happened around me in my country and abroad... Sometimes I'm ashamed of it, but almost always I'm glad not to pay attention... Politics... It's too boring and it's too useless to talk about, as for me. We, little people, can't decide anything, while those "monsters" are dividing our world between them...

Besides, I'm not so clever to talk about politics.

But when I see actions of our politics, I think just like you - "my country is falling down"...
And it falls and falls and falls since 1991.

I understand your point of view, some months ago I was like you, politic wasn't interesting for me. But now, I think it's important to have an opinion for that because it's a burning topic in the actuality and I can vote. If everybody wasn't interested by politic, how would be the situation ? You're not alone. Most if not all county's citizens are getting fucked over more and more. The class divide has never been bigger between the haves and have nots, and all politicians do is work for the billionaires so that they can stay in power. The problem is the global economy is collapsing and everyone is in a dance, trying not to be the one left holding the bomb.

Politics here - sucks. Our rulers - thieves who rob people. And all the money goes into the pocket to the officials. It's awful. And people still live: the poor and useless. When the elections were the majority of people voted for the Communists. However, neither looking at it, defeated the capitalists. Why not? Because they have a pretty money. One only lies.

But that could change your or my voice? I think in this case - can not do anything.
